Thinking of buying the Cuisinart DGB-600BC Grind and Brew coffee maker? Check out this list of FAQ (frequently asked questions) about this unique machine that both grinds and brews your coffee to see if it is the right choice for you.

Q. How does the Cuisinart DGB-600BC work?

A. The Grind and Brew has a built in coffee grinder that automatically grinds the beans for your coffee and then brews. It can be programmed up to 24 hours in advance which means that you can set it the night before to grind your beans and brew your coffee first thing in the morning before you get out of bed - or for any other time of day that you would like.

Q. What if I don't want to grind beans, but instead want to use ground coffee? Can I still use the Cuisinart Grind and Brew?

A. Yes. The Cuisinart DGB-600BC can be used both with coffee beans and with ground coffee. If you are using coffee that is already ground just choose the "Grind-off" feature to bypass the grinder and just brew the coffee.

Q. Is the Grind and Brew Coffee Maker Easy to Clean?

A. The cleanup involved with the DGB-600BC is slightly more involved than with a traditional coffeemaker, however it is still relatively easy. The reason there is a little more cleanup is that you have to clean the coffee pot & filter and along with the grinder. Keep in mind, though, that it is really no more difficult than cleaning a separate coffee grinder and coffee pot if you were making coffee from ground beans in the traditional way. Not only that, but the parts of this coffee machine that need cleaning are removable and are dishwasher safe.
